It started with a simple frustration. Our founder walked into his family's hardware shop and watched his father spend 45 minutes at the end of each day manually calculating GST on a paper register — then re-entering everything into a spreadsheet to share with their CA.
He looked for billing software to fix this. What he found were either complicated enterprise tools built for IT professionals, or basic apps that didn't understand Indian taxes, batch tracking, or the way Indian businesses actually operate.
So he built myofficebook — starting with just GST invoicing, and expanding based on what real shopkeepers asked for. Every feature in myofficebook exists because a real Indian shop owner needed it.
